Ather Energy Launches 2025 Ather 450 Series with New Features

Ather Energy has unveiled the 2025 version of its successful Ather 450 electric scooter lineup, introducing an array of new features focused on boosting safety, enhancing performance, and improving rider convenience.  

The updated lineup includes the Ather 450X and the Ather 450 Apex, both featuring multi-mode traction control, Ather’s MagicTwist technology, and improved range specifications. 

The introduction of multi-mode traction control marks a significant improvement in the 2025 Ather 450 series. This system enhances stability on diverse road conditions and offers three modes: Rain Mode for superior grip on slippery roads; Road Mode for everyday riding and Rally Mode for off-road experiences. 

Similarly, the MagicTwist feature is now extended to the 450X models. This system which regenerates energy enables riders to decelerate by twisting the throttle in reverse, significantly reducing the need for frequent braking.  

Range and efficiency are key highlights of the 2025 Ather 450 models, achieved through improved energy management and advanced multi-compound tires developed in collaboration with MRF. The 450X (3.7 kWh) and 450 Apex now offer a real-world range of 130 km, with IDC Ranges of 161 km and 157 km, respectively. Similarly, the 450X (2.9 kWh) and 450S deliver a real-world range of up to 105 km. 

The updated AtherStack 6 software powers the enhanced dashboard, packed with intelligent features for a modern riding experience. 

To complement these updates, Ather Energy has introduced the Eight70 warranty, which offers 8 years or 80,000 km of coverage, guaranteeing 70% battery health.
